Washington State University is a member of the Inland Northwest Research Alliance, a consortium of eight research universities dedicated to fostering collaborative research in the Inland Northwest. Since the mission of INRA is to promote multidisciplinary research and education and much of the research emphasis is related to contaminant fate and transport, the Center for Environmental, Sediment and Aquatic Research facilitates INRA activities on the WSU campus.
