Mission

• To perform interdisciplinary research that provides cutting edge solutions to important environmental problems for industries and government agencies,

• To transfer this technology to industry, and

• To educate the next generation of environmental professionals.

Center staff and faculty are motivated by the recognition that solving our most critical industrial and environmental problems requires not only cooperative multidisciplinary research, but also strong collaborative bonds with professionals from industry and government agencies.  Hence, researchers from several disciplines work together in cohesive project teams to find solutions to complex regional, national, and international environmental problems while training the next generation of environmental professionals.
